Video lottery retailers on the rise - 2003-10-26
More than 80 video lottery retailers have been granted in Parkersburg in the 24 months since the first license was issued here.
Eighty-five have been issued as of Oct. 1, according to the latest compilation by the West Virginia Lottery. They are becoming as common as the corner convenience store, and communities are proceeding with measures to control the sudden proliferation of the state-sanctioned mini-casinos.
