Tribes delay $10,000 checks to members - 2003-10-26
Tulalip Tribes members reached an agreement Saturday not to make a $10,000-per-person payment from casino revenues this year after tribal leaders argued that to do so would lead to drastic cuts in programs.

But they voted to include $1,000 to the $2,000 annual checks affiliates are scheduled to obtain next month.
