Korea says no to I-gaming - 2003-03-12
The Ministry of Culture and Tourism in Korea has declared that anticipated changes in the law will abolish Internet gambling in Internet cafes. The reviewed legislations appear set to be introduced to the National Assembly and are likely to to pass by the month of September.

Existing rules are enforced on the producers and sellers of online games, but the wide use of Internet cafes for online gambling has been brought to the Ministry’s attention.
