Critics Unhappy About Expanding gambling - 2003-03-13
Mike amassed huge amounts of debt, stole money, faced legal problems, lost his job, had marital trouble and attempted suicide.

He's one of the more fortunate gambling addicts, he admitted.
"Gambling led me down a long, deteriorating road; however, my story is mild compared to the hundreds I've heard in my support group," shared the associate of Gamblers Anonymous.

Indians have share in Butte gambling venture - 2003-03-13
If the state legalizes wide-open gambling in a special entertainment district in Butte, five American Indian tribes in Montana under federal law could seek automatic authorization to expand gambling on their reservations to correspond with it, a state Justice Department attorney has stated.
