Australian Banks Contest Casino Transaction Ban - 2003-03-17
Banking regulations are emerging as a flashpoint in the Federal Government's examination of its abolishment on casino-style online gambling.

Canberra is examining whether gambling transactions could be nullified.

But the business of finance is opposing motions to end Internet casino credit card transactions, cautioning that liability problems and difficulties in identifying gaming payments would make them too complex.

It was a lucky weekend for one California woman. She hit the jackpot at a Lake Tahoe casino winning a total of $1.9 million .

The artist from Vacaville, who insisted that her name not be publicly identified, stated she played rougly $60 in a Wheel of Fortune slot machine at Harrah's Lake Tahoe when she hit the jackpot Saturday.
