Herbst shows significant gain in cash flow - 2003-03-18
Herbst Gaming Inc. revealed a jump in profit, cash flow and revenue in 2002 controlled by powerful performance at its locals casinos.
The company declared it earned $5.2 million in 2002 compared to a net loss of $12 million in 2001.

The company sees cash flow -- a key indicator of casino performance -- as earnings before non-recurring items, interest, taxes, depreciation and compensation.

Binion's Horseshoe hotel-casino puts federal labor case to rest - 2003-03-18
Putting charges to rest that it violated federal labor laws, Binion's Horseshoe hotel-casino has signed a collective bargaining agreement it reached with unions last July, attorneys for the National Labor Relations Board, Culinary Union Local 226 as well as Bartenders Union Local 165 said Friday.
