Dozens of trade shows are relevant to people in the online gambling industry. But which shows are worthy of "must attend" status and which are a waste of time? We informally polled five industry observers who continuously attend trade shows and created this list.

1. Global Interactive Gaming Summit & Expo (GIGSE)

Description: Largest conference aimed strictly to online gaming. Over 60 exhibitors and 1,100 attendees in 2002.

Coalition rallies in opposition of proposal to add casino gambling - 2003-03-21
A team of religious and secular interests groups urged Minnesota state legislators on Tuesday to reject a proposal to include casino gambling to Canterbury Park.

In an independent economic analysis report revealed in February, Canterbury Park stated that slot machine gambling could make a minimum $150-million in new tax revenue for the state in its first two years of operation.
