Gambling proceeds for February plunge - 2003-03-21
After months of indicating ongoing year-to-year gains, the state's gambling revenues from Colorado's 43 casinos fell last month to $51.6 million from $57 million in February 2002.
In Central City, the total went down to $3.7 million from $4.2 million a year prior. And in Cripple Creek, where a casino closed last year, gambling proceeds dropped to $9.99 million from $11 million in 2002.
