Jerry Molnar's wife set the digital clock-radio in their bedroom to turn on early each morning. The clock proceeded to function perfectly, even following her death from a sudden illness in July, 2001.
But, in spite of his happy marriage and family, Molnar started drinking and gambling. "It's almost as if the family curse had been handed to me," he stated. "My wife was not happy about this."
