Mississippi Governor appoints two members to gaming commission - 2003-03-22
Laurel businesswoman Robin Robinson and retired educator Howard Sanders of Hollandale have been deemed and appointed to the Mississippi Gaming Commission by Gov. Ronnie Musgrove.
"I am neither for or against gambling," Sanders remarked.
He stated that the gambling's impact on the state's economy, on employment, on tourism and on tax revenues cannot be overlooked. Sanders stated those issues are crucial to the Delta.
