Like leaders in many states, Minnesota legislators expecting to expand legalized gambling believe their proposals deserve a closer look as a method to guide much-needed money into exhausted state checkbooks.

Federal money-laundering rules will be issued in Nevada - 2003-03-23
Nevada casinos are projected to meet new federal cash reporting rules, after the U.S. Treasury Department declined a bid by Nevada gambling regulators to allow the state to continue with its present reporting system.

Officials reported that the new regulation will require reports from close to 40 more Nevada gambling businesses that generated between $1 million and $10 million a year.
