U.S. Online Gambling Ban Plan Sparks Fight From Antigua - 2003-03-25
As legislation motions forward in Congress to make online gambling illegal, one Caribbean island is concerned that the proposed new law will damage licensed online casinos operating on its shores, and rob it from much-needed revenues.
Internet gambling is going through a major growth, according to Christiansen Capital Advisors, which states that the market will reach $6 billion this year, and as much as, $10 billion by 2005.
