Former U.S. Lime & Minerals vice president sentenced - 2003-03-25
Larry Thomas Ohms, former vice president of finance for United States Lime & Minerals Inc., was indicted Monday to 32 months imprisonment and commanded to pay close to $2.2 million in restitution to the Dallas-based company.

In a press release Tuesday delivered from the Department of Justice, U.S. District Judge Sam Lindsay commanded that Ohms receive treatment for alcoholism and obsessive gambling and report to the Bureau of Prisons on May 27.

Horse Track Becomes Online Gamble - 2003-03-25
Magna Entertainment are establishing the first ever horse racing track constructed strictly for TV and Internet gambling. The Canadian company believes the project will deem them masters of the I-gaming world.

However Magna also intends a 1.2 million square feet off-track Las Vegas style resort to entice families with the likes of cinemas, restaurants and hotels.
