Hard times for Detroit casino, lays off 3 execs - 2003-03-25
Greektown Casino laid off 3 vice presidents late last week, including the leaders of its slot machine and customer service branches, in a management shakeup slashing costs.

Greektown, which generated 2002 revenues of $328 million, competes with casinos headed by publicly traded Mandalay Resort Group and MGM Mirage.

Paul Micucci becomes Executive Vice-President of MEC's Gaming Division - 2003-03-25
Magna Entertainment Corp. ("MEC") (NASDAQ: MECA; TSX: MEC.A) today revealed that Paul Micucci has been appointed as Executive Vice-President of MEC's Gaming Division.

Prior to this, Mr. Micucci was employed as Chief Financial Officer at the Ontario Casino Corporation. In this role, he took on the the added responsibilities of Project Director, overseeing the construction and production of the new Casino Windsor, Canada's first complete amenity commercial casino.
