Thousands ignore security concerns to celebrate new year in Vegas - 2004-01-01
Roughly 270,000 people left behind empty beer bottles, plastic cups and terrorism worries following the welcoming of 2004 on the Las Vegas Strip under 10 sets of fireworks and a plethora of confetti and glitter.
