Gateway Casinos is providing a 100,000-square-foot destination-style casino for the Still Creek industrial region between the Lougheed Highway and Trans-Canada Highway.

Hard Rock casinos to go ahead as planned - 2004-01-11
The largest Coast casino story of 2003 was the public revelation of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino.

The casino plans emerged from $25 million to $58 million (when the project added a hotel, parking garage and museum so it could meet the gaming commission's standards for land-based development) to the current price of $85 million, when a gambling barge was included.
