Nelson's Antiwar Track Won't Be A Single - 2004-01-12
It was declared late last week that Willie Nelson wrote an anti-war song for democratic presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich, and that it would inevitably be released as a single.

Willie also informed the paper that the song was penned for the one performance Saturday at the Grand Casino in Biloxi and won't be recorded, or added to his repertoire or released as a single.

SkyCity extends to Whangarei - 2004-01-12
SkyCity Leisure, the cinema side of the casino-entertainment business, is buying Whangarei's Cinema City 5 complex for $2 million.
The complex is now owned by a group of local investors.

SkyCity Leisure director Michael Daniel, who is a Northland local, states that the purchase is a logical expansion of the business.
