UK gambling group Aspinall has broken its silence on the fight over its interests in the Christchurch Casino.

Thomas had Aspinall's local operator, who has ran the casino since its debut 10 years ago, removed from the board when he found out Aspinall had been talking with rival SkyCity Entertainment regarding its stake.
