Casino suit ensues between Louisiana tribe and Campo band - 2004-01-15
A Louisiana tribe is suing the Campo Indian band in San Diego Superior Court, claiming that Campo has repaid under $1 million of the $25 million it cost to develop the Golden Acorn Casino in 2001.

"In essence, the Campo Band of Mission Indians got a $25 million casino for free, and the Tunica-Biloxi tribe is left empty-handed," Jane Long, an attorney for Tunica-Biloxi, declared in a prepared statement.
