Man sues for a place in tribe - 2004-01-16
An adopted man who insists his biological father was a Pechanga Indian is suing to acquire admission to the wealthy tribe.
Joe Liska, 43, pledged that he will protest outside the Pechanga Casino in Temecula at 2 p.m. Saturday in an attemtp to pressure the band into adopting him and his two children.
''This is not a club. This is a tribe. It's a blood right,'' Liska explained to The Press-Enterprise by telephone from his Arizona home.
