The 175-year old Crockford's casino in London's Mayfair has seen many high rollers come and go.

Unfortunately, for owner Stanley Leisure, a fair number of its revenues have left with them. On Thursday, the betting and gaming operator is intending to disclose a £5 million drop in interim pre-tax profits to roughly £20 million.

Emil Jones endorses Country Club Hills' casino - 2004-01-18
Standing in front of a throng of mayors from economically needy South Suburbs, Senate President Emil Jones encouraged the Illinois Gaming Board on Friday to definitely consider Country Club Hills' bid for a casino license.

"The gaming board should look at the law and what the law says, and not do what they did several years ago and decide to send the license elsewhere," Jones insisted, referring to the failed riverboat casino deal in Rosemont.
