Casino antagonists assemble in St. Louis County - 2004-01-02
With public meetings and prayer vigils, some antagonists in south St. Louis County are contesting proposals for a new casino.

Harrah's Entertainment and Isle of Capri Casinos Inc. have proposed separate casinos south of the Jefferson Barracks Bridge, including those that involve Wirtel. Pinnacle Entertainment proposed a site in Lemay, south of the River des Peres, which also is generating some opposition.
