Iowa's Meskwaki launches casino a second time - 2004-01-02
The wagers are on at the Meskwaki casino.
At 10 a.m. Wednesday, the doors opened for gamblers to roll the dice and play the slot machines for the second time in less than one year since its initial debut.

The casino was defunct in May resulting from a tribal leadership conflict, putting 1,300 people out of work. The closure order was lifted earlier this month after a new tribal council was recognized, clearing the way for the New Year's Eve reopening.
