When casino businesses bid Monday on the state's sole remaining casino license, the rhetoric will be tough and full of strategic bluster.
"The companies might bid $200 million or $300 million," explained William Thompson, a gambling expert at the University of Nevada at Las Vegas. In the Chicago market, "One thing is for sure, the full 1,200 [gambling] spots in the casino will be filled... The casino is going to be an economic winner."
