Casino Faced With Suit in Gangs War - 2004-01-21
A lawsuit filed last week in District Court allege an Arizona couple suffered emotional stress and physical endangerment when they witnessed a gun fight between rival motorcycle gangs at a Laughlin casino.

In the lawsuit, Schoenleber and Hendrickson saw at least two of those killings as "the whole casino erupted in violent pandemonium during the annual Laughlin River Run."

Nonprofit organization seek jackpot at collective casino affair - 2004-01-21
As football fans everywhere ready their Super Bowl parties for the big game day, Feb. 1, two local nonprofit groups will roll out a Las Vegas-type celebration the night before.

The Bridge, a crisis center for women and children, and The Cabrini Foundation - which advocates education, health, welfare and spiritual guidance for the needy - have joined together to host a charity casino night Jan. 31.
