Construction Of Hard Rock Hotel & Casino To Start Next Week - 2004-01-22
Construction of the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi, the first new resort to debut on the Coast since 1999, will start next week.

The Mississippi Gaming Commission easily authorized plans for financing the $235 million casino, hotel and concert facility Wednesday morning, clearing the path for work to start.

Billhimer left his job as general manager of Grand Casino Gulfport last summer to unite with the Hard Rock group.

Isle of Man expects games firms will substitute casinos - 2004-01-22
The Isle of Man Government is attempting once again to become a hub for new media companies, this time targeting computer games firms. After some initial success in enticing online casinos, all the operators either closed or left in favour of places like Curaçao and Alderney. The casinos included MGM Mirage and Littlewoods.
