Tribe presents offer for more contributions to state general fund - 2004-01-24
The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indians has stretched a thorny olive branch to Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, offering a new ballot bid that asks tribes to pay the same as corporations to the state general fund.

As a result, tribes would be permitted to manage as many casinos as they wish on their reservations and to present roulette and craps, which they cannot do under existing state law.
