Busch insists Md. should have slots parlors - 2004-01-28
House Speaker Michael E. Busch claimed Tuesday if slots arrive in Maryland they should be played in state-built emporiums at locations that will lure tourists and those who currently travel out of state to gamble.

By weighing in on Gov. Robert L. Ehrlich's slot machine proposal revealed a day earlier, Busch set the framework for cooperations this legislative session.

WMS Businesses Looks Into U.K. Jackpot - 2004-01-28
WMS Industries Inc., the Waukegan-based maker of video slot machines, on Tuesday stated that it has established a London-based subsidiary to tap into a widening casino market in the U.K.

But the developing casino market isn't the only excuse to expand into the U.K. WMS also sees a need for additional worlwide game development so its slot machines attract different cultures around the world, stated Chief Financial Officer Scott Schweinfurth.
