Dice on ice: Tribe revokes proposal for hotel - 2004-01-30
Stymied because they can't get endorsements for a Portland casino, the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde have chosen to revoke their bid to construct an 800-room headquarters hotel at the Oregon Convention Center.

Last year, the governor cut the Grand Ronde's offer to promise the bonds for a major league baseball stadium in Portland, in exchange for authorization to establish a casino in the city.
