Prosecutors may contact USFK in gambling probe - 2004-01-04
South Korean prosecutors could contact U.S. military officials in connection with a growing probe into allegations of illegal gambling at a weekly "Casino Night" at the U.N. Command officers' club, a U.S. military newspaper reported in today's edition.
Prosecutor Kang In-chul of the foreign affairs division at the Busan District Prosecutor's Office said he could not disclose what contact had been made with U.S. officials, the Stars and Stripes said.
