Channel Isle deal highlights gaming 'milestone' - 2004-01-08
CryptoLogic publicized that The Ritz Club London Online has incorporated its technology to build an online casino in Alderney in a deal it describes as an important "regulatory milestone".

The company, which develops online gaming software, said that Alderney is one of the industry's most strictly regulated jurisdictions in the world, and claims to be one of very few technology providers able to comply with the exact requirements.

Minnesota Tribe Plans Enlargement of Carlton Casino - 2004-01-08
The Fond du Lac Band of Lake Superior Chippewa is initiating a $25 million expansion of its Bear Casino and Hotel in Carlton.
Plans call for a doubling of hotel space, construction of an 800-plus seat auditorium, addition of a buffet-style restaurant and increase in casino gaming space.

"We're running out of room," reservation executive director Jean Mulder explained. "Our hotel is always full, and with the addition of the golf course, we just don't have enough room."
