New casinos will be in heading to Langley City, Surrey and Richmond -- and now Burnaby wants a piece of the action too.

Gateway Casinos is offering a 100,000-square-foot destination-style casino for the Still Creek industrial region between the Lougheed Highway and Trans-Canada Highway.

Convictions Maintained In Casino Patron's Killing - 2004-01-09
A state appellate court panel on Thursday maintained the murder convictions of two men for the shooting death of a victim who was followed from an Inglewood casino to a Santa Clarita, Calif., gas station.

Reeda and Graham were convicted of the Sept. 30, 2001, killing of 26-year- old Brandon Hunsche of Valencia, who was followed around 50 miles to a Texaco Star Mart gas station once winning between $600 and $700 at the Hollywood Park Casino.
