Demolition deal issued for Tropicana Casino garage - 2004-01-09
A demolition plan has been issued for the portion of Tropicana Casino and Resort parking garage that collapsed Oct. 30, killing four employees, but casino officials and public agencies are keeping it close to the vest.

A two-block section of Pacific Avenue - the city's casino strip - continues to be closed next to the site of the collapse. Initially, police officials had stated it would stay closed for a month after the collapse.
