Smoking prohibition would assist state to breathe easier - 2004-02-12

Casino to compensate for construction - 2004-02-12
The Chukchansi Indian tribe and Cascade Entertainment have agreed to pay over $17 million owed to subcontractors who were employed last year to construct the Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino in Coarsegold.

Last August, Walton initiated arbitration, and two months after, filed in Madera County a close to $8 million mechanic's lien against the Chukchansi Gold Resort and Casino.
