Jones supports constitutional amendment for more gaming in Kentucky - 2004-02-13
After entertaining members of the Kentucky Thoroughbred Farm Managers’ Club with stories of how he secured his position in the racing industry, one-time Kentucky Governor Brereton Jones proceeded to share his views on how the state’s signature business could protect its own future for years to come.

If the goal to introduce slot machine gambling is ever going to become a reality in the state of Kentucky, Jones believes the measure would require introduction as a constitutional amendment, and the casino sites themselves limited to the tracks.

Sierra Design Closes Online Casino - 2004-02-13
Sierra Design has revealed this week that they have pulled the plug on www.prizegames.com following moves by Missouri regulators to annul its gambling license in that state.

Sierra, who controlled the site under the subsidiary, Arcade planet, however, continued to be defiant, issuing a statement claiming that the site provided 'games of skill' for money, and that such games are legal in Missouri.
