Bridgeport contemplates taking a gamble on casino - 2004-02-14
Bridgeport Mayor John Fabrizi stated Friday the city would consider hosting a casino for the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation, which has named the Park City as its top pick for potential casino development.
DeLuca stated he expects to lobby hard for a tribal casino and resort in Bridgeport, where he opened his first store in 1965.

DeJope casino would be $3 million charge a year for state - 2004-02-14
The state would lose an estimated $40 million by 2016 if Dane County voters permit the Ho-Chunk Nation to convert a Madison bingo hall into a casino, according to a state message revealed Friday.

The Ho-Chunk has agreed to pay the city of Madison and Dane County $91 million from 2004 through 2016 if voters support a referendum Tuesday that would permit the tribe to offer craps, poker, roulette and other casino games at DeJope Bingo Hall.
