Democratic presidential front- runner Sen. John Kerry was victorious in east and west Saturday, swamping his opponents in Nevada and the District of Columbia caucuses to enhance his advantage in delegates required for the nomination.

Kerry, D-Mass., informed caucusgoers in Las Vegas that he didn't gamble his cash on the slots at his casino hotel, but "I am gambling today" on the state's contest.

Colleges take a gamble on gaming - 2004-02-15
Here in the American Indian gaming capital of California, the casino and the campus have headed into a matrimony of mutual financial benefit.
Two local institutions of higher learning are planning certificate programs in gambling-ology to ready students for careers in one of the few growth trades in the state: Indian casinos.

Curriculum consists of: Gaming Security and Surveillance, Table Games, Slot Analysis, Revenue Techniques, as well as Deterring and Detecting Casino Cheats.
