Broad alliance rips casino - 2004-02-16
The forces against a casino at the DeJope bingo hall brought out the major guns today, with liberal and conservative, existing and previous elected officials sharing one stage while encouraging Dane County residents to vote no on Tuesday's referendum.

According to the city's deal with the Ho-Chunk, bargained in November, Ho-Chunk pledges to make annual payments of an estimated $3.5 million to the city if a casino is sited at DeJope.
