Tribe’s new position could generate money from feds - 2004-02-16
When the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation won federal recognition last month, a lot of the attention was on where and if the tribe would construct a casino.

But those programs and federal dollars will probably be on hold if local and state officials, who are against casino expansion, go through with their appeal of the recognition. The Schaghticokes can’t gather grant money until the appeals are exhausted. That could add years to a system that has already spanned 20 years.

Bayfront lots, expected construction in Barnegat - 2004-02-16
This may be the year when houses will be constructed on three bayfront lots that house mover Bryan Gallagher attempted for years to produce.

Gallagher, of Little Egg Harbor, spent years attempting to move a five-bedroom, million-dollar home that was owned by a casino executive before he purchased it for $1 in Longport, Atlantic County, to one of the Bay Shore Drive lots he controlled.
