What's up next on SkyCity's expansion list - a casino on rails? Don't laugh - the concept was not disregarded out of hand when it was suggested to the company's managing director, Evan Davies.

At a press conference in Darwin following SkyCity's $220 million play for the city's casino, Davies was asked if his business would be interested in using the newly launched rail link to Adelaide, home of its other Australian casino.

Gold Club Casino, SOLD! - 2004-02-16
Boss Media has sold its Gold Club Casino, to an unidentified buyer. The news comes on the heels of the sale of its online casino portal Casino.com in autumn the year prior, as part of Boss’s policy of concentrating on its key business of software development.

The company had earlier chosen to get rid of its business to consumer division. Boss will still supply gaming software and related services to the buyer, who has requested to remain anonymous.
