Casino opponents, backers discuss issues - 2004-02-17
The opposing sides of the Hesperia casino debate got to state their case Monday in front of entrepreneurial officials as the pro-casino team touted additional jobs and economic propects for the city, while opponents indicated possible drawbacks the project might introduce.

Wilson focused on the 1,000 jobs the casino is expected to bring, along with chances for local vendors and service providers who can contribute to the operation of the casino.
