Four facing charges in the Grand Casino theft - 2004-02-18
Police have taken four suspects into custody in association with a Sept. 30 incident in which a woman used an empty honey bun box to rob the Grand Casino in Tunica.

Authorities stated that the key player in the heist - the woman who told casino staff members that she had a bomb in the box - is Linda "Lynn" Stevenson, 22, of Michigan. Other suspects were Stevenson's boyfriend, a casino cashier and the cashier's boyfriend.

Wisconsin Voters say no to casino - 2004-02-18
Dane County voters declined a proposal Tuesday to let the Ho-Chunk Nation to convert its Madison bingo hall into a full-blown Las Vegas-style casino.

The vote was nonbinding because only the governor has the authority to legalize casinos in Wisconsin. Gov. Jim Doyle has explained repeatedly he would abide by the results of Tuesday's referendum.
