New Valley Casino Ventures - 2004-02-19
The last agreement for a new resort casino could be finalized within the following 90 days.
Caesars Entertainment is joining forces with the same tribe currently running Mono Wind Casino.

They plan to establish a $200 million casino northeast of Fresno.
The casino would feature a 250 room hotel, 2,000 slot machines, as well as 20 gaming tables.

Senators contemplate gambling proposal - 2004-02-19
Under federal law, voter approval of that proposed constitutional modification also would allow Nebraska's four Native tribes to operate their own casinos on Native land if they wish.
Sen. Adrian Smith of Gering penned the single-casino proposal as an amendment to replace the current legislative plan to authorize up to eight casinos in Nebraska.

That casino should be close to Omaha's new convention center across the river from the three casinos in Council Bluffs, Iowa, Sen. Joel Johnson of Kearney stated.
