News from the Wisconsin area - 2004-02-19
The Ho-Chunk Nation's search for a site for its fourth Wisconsin casino will go on even though constituents resoundingly denied the tribe's plan to establish the facility in Madison, tribal officials stated Wednesday.

The tribe has a list of other communities where the casino plan could opt for next, Ho-Chunk business director Jim Webster explained.

Finger Lakes 'racino' launches - 2004-02-19
If the day of the debut is any sign, the new “racino” at the Finger Lakes Race Track will hit the jackpot.

Over 1,000 anxious gamblers — including some who had waited in line for over two hours — surged two dozen abreast into the new Finger Lakes Gaming & Racetrack for almost 10 minutes straight once the wide doorways were thrown open at 10 a.m. Wednesday.
