New Jersey off-track betting parlor venture gets OK - 2004-02-19
New Jersey’s Master Off-Track Wagering Participation Agreement, a project designed to offer financial help for New Jersey’s Thoroughbred industry that includes the construction of as many as 15 off-track wagering facilities, was overwhelmingly approved by the New Jersey Racing Commission on Wednesday in Freehold.
Drazin also said a four-year settlement with Atlantic City’s casino trade to subsidize Thoroughbred purses is now in the finalization process.
