Re-opening makes Raceway attraction - 2004-02-02
There was lots of action at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway on Sunday as the venue came close to the end of its first weekend with video gaming ma- chines (VGMs) open for business.
"We're thrilled with it," the raceway's marketing director, Rita Cox, explained Sunday. "It's been a great weekend."
"It's fun," Rickert stated. "Every once in a while, I get an itch, and if I can't get to a casino, it's easy to come here."

Raceway attracts full house - 2004-02-02
There was more than enough action at Saratoga Gaming and Raceway on Sunday as the facility was on the verge of the end of its first weekend with video gaming machines open for business.
On Wednesday, Saratoga Gaming and Raceway welcomed clients to its $15 million renovation, a 20,000-square-foot gaming floor featuring 1,323 slot-like video gaming machines, also known as video lottery terminals, and 35,000 square feet of improved grandstand space.
