Seminoles to employ 3,000 for hotel and casino - 2004-02-20
The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino is having a job fair Feb. 26-28 in preparation for its April debut.
Recruiters relayed they are searching for experienced hospitality and casino personnel to launch the $200 million casino and hotel complex.

Available jobs include dealers, cashiers, customer service attendants, gaming machine technicians and other casino workers, in addition to hotel staff members, food and beverage workers, groundskeepers and service workers.

Donald Trump Authorized for State Gaming Permit - 2004-02-20
Developer Donald Trump was approved Thursday by state legislators to hold a stake in the Riviera hotel-casino - but reported the Las Vegas Strip resort is a foot-in-the-door licensing prospect and doesn't figure in his future Nevada plans.

The Gaming Commission authorized Trump and companies that he controls as part of a registration and suitability-finding process that would speed up any actual casino licensing in the future.
