Bill taps casino profit - 2004-02-21
After a fight that divided Missouri universities, two Columbia policymakers are seeking to change the subject.

Rep. Chuck Graham and Rep. Jeff Harris, both Democrats, this week brought in a measure that aims to supply new money to all public universities by tapping casinos and people who work in Missouri but live in other states.

Arizona constructor wins Colusa Casino work - 2004-02-21
Hunt Construction Group's Western regional office, based in Scottsdale, Ariz., has been granted the $11.3 million contract to redevelop the Colusa Casino, the company stated Friday.

The venture would include renovation of two buildings, construction of a 6,000-square-foot lobby and a new buffet restaurant and kitchen, adding a new casino and 100-room hotel, and associated site preparation work, Hunt explained.
