I wonder if the constituents in Hesperia (especially the ones who presently are likely to vote in opposition of the casino) have really thought about the facts and the future of our young city.

Our great city is poor. We cannot repair the streets (even though we are spending $2 million annually repairing them). Presently, we only have 24 paid patrol officers. It is a known fact that you should have one officer for every 1,000 locals. Right now, Hesperia is short exactly 50 to 55 deputies.
