Tennis star, Anna Kournikova, turned heads when she strolled down the red carpet with actor Mickey Rourke to rejoice over the Light nightclub's second anniversary at the Bellagio resort.

Publicists claimed the two are strictly friends and that Kournikova in the area to see her boyfriend, Enrique Iglesias, who's been doing live shows at the Hard Rock hotel-casino.

Liquor license wanted for high school charity event - 2004-02-24
The Hall County board Tuesday will contemplate issuing a liquor license for a March 20 fundraiser to benefit a program at Grand Island Senior High.

The board got an application from Charlie Bosselman, chief operations officer of Bosselman Inc., to permit a casino night fundraiser from 5 p.m. March 20 to 1 a.m. March 21 at the one-time Grandma Max's Restaurant at the Bosselman Travel Center at Highway 281 and Interstate 80.
